Aage Christiansen Danish Sofa

This three seater Danish sofa is known as the Matador sofa, designed by Aage Christiansen for the small manufacturer Erhardsen and Andersen. The design is from the 1960's and can be seen in the 1966 Danish Interiors advert of the time. This one is ready for the upholstery to be finised, also available is a matching chair. 

The quality of this Mid Century sofa is excellent, a much heavier structure than some from this period. It has had a fire proof barrier fabric cover on it to bring it up to current fire regulations. Now its a blank canvas, its your choice of colour and fabric to finish it. It is priced to be finished in a pure new wool or cotton velvet and samples are available.
